Your Knight’s Code is one of valor, truth, and courage. You are tasked with defending the innocent and the weak, and today your oath is being tested. Outside of town there has been a bandit attack on a merchant and his family, and it’s up to you to rescue them.
Your squire straps your Bevor around your neck before your helmet is placed firmly over your head, and with a prayer to your god you and your small unit strike out onto the road.
There isn’t time to slow down. The life of a fighter is fast. You move fast, fight fast, and even stand fast. It is also usually true that fighters are quick to fall. The battlefield is a place of chaos and violence, and you cannot afford to be held back by your armour--or this fight will be your last.
You wear your Soldier armour because it is practical and sturdy. Your Soldiers Shoulder has taken numerous hits and never failed you. So, no matter the speed and the insanity, you can keep pace with the best of them.
You enjoy the finer things in life and lately you’ve become accustomed to the feel of soft fabric draped across you. When the call of adventure comes, you take your sturdy Imperial Bevor and other armour and you have it lined in luxurious green velvet.
And now, everywhere you go people know exactly who you are. Your legend has spread, and in utter comfort every step of the way.
You calmly strap the young freshy into his armour. His eyes are afire. This is the first time he's stepped out beyond the walls in defence of the town. You make all the soothing noises you can, but you know that it isn't just the armour that makes the soldier. Put as much steel around them as you want, but unless there's steel in their heats they don't last too long.

Your squire straps your Sallet onto your head over the weight of your chainmail coif, and with a prayer to your god you and your small unit strike out onto the road.
Someone might say that you are a cruel person. The truth is that you aren’t cruel--but you certainly aren’t a hero, either. The Battle of Delle is not one for your homeland or for your own people, but the pay is good and the fighting even better.
Life as a mercenary has made you into a hardened and effective warrior, and while some call it ‘luck’ when your enemy’s sword slides off your Epic Dark Barbuta, you call it strategy. After all, now your enemy’s heart is a wide open target.
Epic Armoury’s Epic Dark Barbuta is a style of helmet inspired by Italian soldiers of the 15th century. Designed to protect the head during combat, the Barbuta is elegant as well as functional. The helmet covers the head, neck, and most of the face--while still offering clear vision through the helmet’s Y-shaped visor, which has been reinforced with additional rolled steel and rivets. Enjoy this sleek and easy to wear design, demanding attention on the battlefield with such details as the curved crest running from forehead to neck.
The Barbuta has been made to wear with renaissance style clothes, but it also has a high-fantasy feel. It has been popularized in modern culture as a helmet favoured by high-elves.
Secure the Barbuta by tightening the leather strap beneath the chin, keeping the helmet in place. Made of 1 mm thick mild steel and top-grain leather straps and fittings, this armour piece is built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather and metal armour care.
There are stories being told about you amongst the soldiers. You are the mercenary who has slain over a thousand men. You put fear in your enemies with just a glance of your unique Visored Barbuta. Your aura of darkness freezes the hearts of anyone who looks you in the eye. And your favorite? Someone is saying you made a deal with a devil so that you may never die.
You will never tell them which might be true. Instead, as you sit just beyond the campfire and clean the blood from your Visored Barbuta, you simply listen...and smirk.
Epic Armoury’s Visored Barbuta is a gracefully curved full-helmet with a distinctive visor. The visor is movable and can be flipped up over the helmet. Whether up or down, the visor can be locked in place with a pin-and-chain. The visor has two rectangular eye-slits, flat nose and a large Maltese-Cross breathing-hole. Wrought to follow the shape of the head and reinforced with a low crest from forehead to neck, the helmet is elegant while still being comfortable to wear.
The helmet gives full protection to head except at the throat. The Barbuta was used mainly by the flamboyant Italian mercenaries of the renaissance and was favoured with light troops for the mix of protection and excellent visibility. Made to wear with renaissance style clothes, it has a high-fantasy feel that will fit with a lot of characters.

It will be you fighting alongside your fellow soldiers, and it will be your trustworthy armour that keeps you alive.
Epic Armoury’s Morion is a steel helmet inspired by the 15th- to 16th-century Spanish conquistadors conquering the world for Gold, God and Glory. The Morion’s brim is shaped to protect the head and face without obstructing vision, curved along the front and back. The skull-cap is reinforced with a long comb running from the forehead along the helmet’s apex. Riveted cheek guards are fitted to the helmet, adding additional protection to the face.
