You admired the Viking Armour that belonged to your father. The great warrior sailed his last voyage, but your brethren still managed to bring back his armour specially for you. For that, at least, you are grateful.
Looking down upon the sturdy, steel, you see the armour has become darkened with the acts you have performed while wearing. Carried on countless travels, you now know this armour was covered in blood raiding the English coast, tarnished under the sun of Spain, and buried in a mound of the dead and dying on the fields of Normandy.
You have added to its story, it has not been pretty.
