"With the correct training, one may walk silently even when coated in plates of metal." Trema responded with the rote learnings of the Rogue's guild. 
"Yeah yeah... When you have attained this level, then the Armour of the Rogue is truly for you. Until then hide in the shadows and strike from behind cover." Dorgen said sarcastically to Trema as they passed another one of those incredibly lifelike statues.

The Statue waited for them to pass before withdrawing into the shadows.

Epic Armoury’s Rogue Neck and Shoulders is an articulated set of armour designed to provide protection for the neck, shoulders, upper arms and chest. The armour is a six-piece set: a two piece gorget, two shoulders, and two upper arm guards. The gorget covers the thorax to the sternum and is furnished with both metal and leather. The gorget and shoulders are attached with top-grain leather straps and a strong cord. In addition, a strong leather strap is adjusted around the chest.

The shoulders are composed of pauldrons and arm guards covering the shoulder-joint and upper arms. The top of the pauldron scoops upward, creating a ridge meant to deflect blows. The shoulder plates are strapped on at the gorget and connect to the upper arm plate, which is secured around the biceps with an adjustable leather strap.

The Rogue Neck and Shoulders is made from top-grain leather and galvanized mild steel with rolled edges that form ridges around the rims. The design is inspired by assassins and rogues, but the style and functionality is fully interchangeable with other Epic Armoury armours, allowing freedom to combine armours and customize a character’s looks to fit your needs.

Epic Armoury’s Epic Dark Rogue Torso is a cuirass made from leather and steel. This breastplate circles the neck in a narrow U-shape, with the steel chest protecting the thorax before sloping around the ribcage to protect under the arms. The steel plate is fitted on brown leather using heavy-duty rivets, and is secured using straps around the back and across the shoulderblades. The lower edge of the breast plate rounds to fit against the crest of the hips, dipping down into a point at the front. This design is mimicked by the overlapped leather plate, which also serves as an anchor for the Rogue Tassets.

The Rogue Torso is designed to match Epic Armoury’s Rogue Armour, but is fully usable with other Epic Armoury metal products, giving you the freedom to customize your character’s costume. Epic Armoury’s Warrior Gambeson is a padded long-sleeve coat covering the torso from neck, down over the hips on front and back. It can be worn on its own or serve as essential padding under mail or armour. The gambeson is donned like a jacket and closed on the front with five leather straps and brass buckles, allowing the wearer to customize the tightness of the fit. The arms are easily detachable by untying its cotton cords on the shoulders and sleeves, each cord secured through long-lasting brass eyelets.

Thick enough to serve as its own armour, this sturdy gambeson is constructed with heavy layers of fluffed cotton canvas sandwiched between layers of heavy cotton canvas. All these layers are stitched together in vertical lines, keeping the padding in place and mimicking a classic European high-medieval style.

This cotton twill product is diagonally woven fabric similar to denim. It is quite sturdy, built to take some abuse.

Cleaning

Remember to wax the leather straps before putting in a washing machine or dryer. If you are able to hand wash and leave your gambeson to dry flat, this is preferable.

Machine wash at 40°C / 104°F (warm). Wash separately the first time and with similar colours afterwards. Tumble dry on low heat, but be aware that it might shrink up to 5%. For general stains or discoloration, treat with a commercial fabric cleaner, or blot with tepid water and a soft cloth.
