This handle is entirely unpainted and unwrapped, allowing you to fashion it how you want entirely.
The best made blades are forged by the most skilled swordsmiths, the metal worked with such precision and care that the edge can cut through flesh so cleanly that a person might not even know they are dead.
You have commissioned a swordsmith to craft you a Katana. Before he is paid you want to be certain it is a properly made blade, and so you conduct a test. You produce a silken sheet, allowing it to descend lightly onto the Katana’s edge. The sheet is cut cleanly, not a thread mismatched.
The blade is perfect.
Epic Armoury’s Unpainted Katana Handle is favoured by both deadly ninja assassins and samurai alike. The handle is being sold separate for your do-it-yourself project. The small oval crossguard protects the 20 cm handle, cast to look like fabric bound in menuki-style. It arrives unpainted, so that you might add whatever detailing you wish.
Whether you are a samurai or ninja, this Katana Handle is our highest quality gear due to its impressive durability and detail. Pair it with your own foam and latex blade, while benefitting from Epic Armoury’s reputation for detail. Made from a polyurethane foam cast, this handle requires no maintenance.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Paint the handle using paint specifically designed for polyurethane foam. We recommend using a primer, first. Create or buy one of our fibreglass core foam blades, leaving a core length that matches the handle. Allow the handle’s paint to completely dry before sliding the handle onto the exposed core of your blade and glue it in place. Allow the glue to dry completely before use--likely after 1-2 days.
