With its petal-like flanges and golden spearhead, it does remind you of a flower. However, you also know this flower has thorns.
In battle, you have used this mace to destroy your enemies. You’ve torn into cavalry and infantry alike thanks to its dangerous--but beautiful--design.
DETAILS
Epic Armoury’s Fleur Mace is an 88 cm one-handed mace with a decorative design. It features a large head with five hooked flanges and a pointed “crown,” sculpted and hand painted to look like real metal. The head is actually made of soft foam, reinforced with a harder foam core. It attaches to the shaft, hand painted and sculpted to look like matching steel reinforced by brass cuffs. The 17 cm long grip has been wrapped in suede leather for an ergonomic fit in the hand.
Made from durable closed cell foam around a solid 10 mm fibreglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, your new LARP mace will provide the safety and appeal you want when crafting your Sovereign kit.
HISTORY
- A traditional mace flange would have been designed to penetrate armour, but the hooked flange design would also make this great for grappling a knight from their horse
- Maces were first designed to cause harm without penetrating armour due to the force of their blows
- Commonly made of iron, but also occasionally copper and bronze
Chainmail has become popular on the battlefield, protecting soldiers from sharp blades and arrows. But you are clever. A soldier in chainmail has every reason to fear you, because metal ring armour will do nothing against the blunt force of your Demon Slayer mace.
Your fellow soldiers gave your mace its name after your first battle--a battle which sent the enemy running in terror like demons faced with the wrath of a god. You feel rather god-like wielding it, come to think of it.
DETAILS
Epic Armoury’s Demon Slayer is a solid latex mace for the vigilant fighter ridding the world of unnatural dangers. The mace has eight narrow and jagged flanges, each about 32 cm long. Handpainted detailing gives the mace-head and haft a realistic matte steel finish. The 16 cm handle is wrapped in split-leather for a solid grip, connected to a sculpted pummel to match the head.
Made from durable closed cell foam around a fibreglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, you can feel confident that your LARP weapon will provide the safety and appeal you want when crafting your kit.

No person’s armour is strong enough to withstand the sheer force of a well placed mace. Your Noble Mace is built to maximize the momentum thanks to its specific design, wielding most of its weight right where it hurts most.
No matter how thick your enemy’s helmet, your weapon is proof that the winner is the one with the most brute force. Like most privileged nobles, you approach most of your battles in this same headlong manner.
DETAILS

The mace has four golden flanges, each featuring two spikes and scalloped decoration along the staff. The 33 cm head has a spike at the top, and is built around a central decorated knob. A 16 cm handle at the end of the steel coloured staff is wrapped in black split-leather to provide a comfortable grip.

You struggle to keep your feet as the last of your fellow soldiers falls next to you, felled by the might of the undead skeletons. Most of your squad wielded swords--very ineffective against the bone fiends--but you’ve been lucky.
Your Steel Mace smashes through the enemy, and you clear an exit, despite your exhaustion. You might just survive this encounter, yet.
