There are stories being told about you amongst the soldiers. You are the mercenary who has slain over a thousand men. You put fear in your enemies with just a glance. Your aura of darkness freezes the hearts of anyone who looks you in the eye. And your favorite? Someone is saying you made a deal with a devil so that you may never die.

You will never tell them which might be true. Instead, as you sit in camp and wash the blood from your Godfrey Shirt, you simply listen...and smirk.

DETAILS

Epic Armoury's new Godfrey Shirt is a loose roguish garment made from light cotton and designed for both comfort and style. It falls just over the hip, and is fitted with a subtle collar along the v-neckline. The sleeves are designed to give a full, loose look befitting a wide range of social classes and careers from the late Middle Ages through the Renaissance. Tighten a cotton cord at the wrists to keep the fabric out of the way, made to easily fit inside a pair of gloves or gauntlets.

The style is moderate and can be used with a great variety of character styles. Match with other Epic Armoury clothes and armours to create your personalized look.

  • Shirts began as a form of undergarments for men in the 7th-10th centuries
  • Considered more of a Renaissance-era fashion for men with its billowy sleeves
  • Traditionally worn as an underlayer beneath a doublet or vest
