Cotehardie Rodrigo

The Cotehardie Rodrigo is a button-up jacket from our Yoremade collection, designed for the Late Middle Ages. It features the slim, body-fitted cut that was the standard look from 1300 to 1500. The fabric is a heavy brocade with a woven jacquard pattern, which gives it a rich, textured appearance that works well for lords, merchants, or guild leaders.

We lined the inside with smooth sateen so the jacket slides over your under-layers without bunching up or sticking. Along with the long row of buttons down the front, we’ve added matching buttons to the lower part of the sleeves. These sleeve buttons are key for getting that tight, tapered fit around the wrists that was common in historical 14th and 15th-century fashion.

This piece is a straightforward way to build a high-status kit. It gives you a sharp, tailored profile while remaining durable enough for regular use at events or feasts.
