One of your hands cross the shield wall, your Raider Bracer slamming metal first into the nose of one of the defender, breaking the formation. They try to stab your hand but the metal and underlying chainmail makes it impossible...

Epic Armoury’s Raider Bracers is a combination of vambrace and hand-plate connected with a chainmail underneath. Paired with your own leather glove, these robust rust covered steel plates efficiently protect the back of your hand, thumb, and underarm while strong chainmail connect the plates to ensure unbridled--but protected--movement. With a Dark and rusty appearance to give it a more evil and brutish look, these bracers would work perfectly with either Northern Marauders or Pillaging orcs.

Made of 1 mm thick mild steel and vegetable-tanned leather straps and fittings, this armour piece is built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather and metal armour care..

INSPIRATION

• Based on orc costuming, which is a creature whose earliest references are found in Old English and Anglo-Saxon sources, such as in Beowulf and in 16th century Italian folktales
